This method covers the estimation
of the resistance of vulcanized rubber to cracking when exposed to
an atmosphere containing ozone. The rubber specimens are kept under
a surface tensile strain, and the ozone content or partial pressure
in the test chamber is maintained at a fixed value.
Providing precise and accurate ozone (O3) concentration environment
for rubber and polymer test. Widely applied to (1) Accelerated
ageing research (2) Quality control and assurance tests and (3) R&
D laboratory formula experiments for cracking resistance. Wide
ranges of ozone concentration (normal 20-250 pphm; or according to
customer's request) can satisfy user's different requirements. The
real ozone concentration is controlled and measured accurately by
means of precise detecting system. Excellent system control: (1)
Maintaining rapid resumption of O3 concentration during continuous
circulation Economy and efficiency: (2) Full automatic test after
simple settings.
The Ozone Test chamber enables a sample comparison; on specimen
prepared from the test slabs or molded/ extruded rubber products; to
determine resistance of the rubber to ozone concentration controlled
at a predetermined level in the ranges 25-50/50-100/100-200 PPH/M at
predetermined temperature.
