Presto’s Din Abrasion Tester is easy to use testing device which is used to measure the abrasion resistance strength of rubber &elastomers. The instrument is designed as per the DIN standard. The machine helps to measure the quality of vulcanized rubber, natural or synthetic rubber. The test specimen is abraded against an abrasive surface which is mounted on a rotating cylindrical drum in such a way that abrasion will take place on allends of the sample. The instrument is held against the abrasive surface under a specific amount of load while being traversed across it.
