Model - PTH 311 Hand operated Twist Tester to determine Twists in double or multiple plied yarns. All the Components are made of Stainless Steel for Life-Long trouble free operations. The Unit has a pre-settable 5 Digit Counter to register the number of Twist in the yarn. The provision to provide required tension to the yarn, while untwisting, is there in the unit. A viewing plate and a magnifying glass is provided in the unit to enable easy untwisting and determining the end point of the opened yam. Supplied with 1 No. Pointing Needle, Allen Key (For tension load adjustment) and detailed user's manual. Complete unit with a CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE, Traceable to NPL, along with an Inspection and Conformance Certificate.

The Binocular head is inclined at 45°, rotating through 360° and can be locked in any position. Low and high powered objectives are selected by rotating the nosepiece through 90° having parfocal magnifications.

The Yarn Examining Board Winder is used to assess the evenness, hairiness, neps and other imperfections in a representative sample of yarn wound at a pre determined pitch onto a tapered black board.
