Core Compression Tester - Instrument is widely used in the “Paper & Packaging Industry” for determination of crush or compression resistance of paper cores, such as used for winding rolls of plastic film. The collapsing load is determined by placing a cylindrical paper core of specified length in between compression plates (either radial or flat type), applying uniform magnitude of compressive load on the test specimen , maximum sustained load value is then recorded.
